About the Role
We are looking for hardworking, reliable individuals to join our asphalt maintenance team. This isn't your typical 9-to-5 office gig—it’s a demanding, hands-on role that requires physical stamina and a "get it done" attitude. You will be responsible for protecting and beautifying our clients' property through high-quality surface restoration.
Key Responsibilities
You will assist the crew lead in four primary service areas:
Surface Preparation: Using blowers, wire brushes, and power brooms to remove dirt and debris. This is the most critical step to ensure the sealant bonds correctly.
Sealcoating: Applying professional-grade sealer to asphalt surfaces using brushes, squeegees, or spray equipment.
Line Striping: Assisting with the layout and painting of parking stalls, handicap symbols, and directional arrows.
Pothole Patching: Filling and compacting hot or cold asphalt mix to repair damaged sections of pavement.
The Reality of the Role
Before you apply, please ensure you are comfortable with the following "on-the-job" realities:
Extreme Conditions: This work happens on black asphalt during the peak of summer. You must be prepared to work in high temperatures and direct sunlight for extended periods. It is physically demanding and often dirty work.
Weather-Dependent Scheduling: Our industry is at the mercy of the elements. If it rains, we can’t seal. This means your weekly hours may be inconsistent. You might work 12 hours one day and zero the next. Flexibility is a requirement, not an option.
Physical Stamina: You will be on your feet all day, lifting heavy materials, and performing repetitive motions.

Requirements
A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the shop or job sites.
Must be a citizen of the United States or otherwise authorized to work in the United States
Ability to follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE.
A strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a small team.
Previous experience in asphalt or construction is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
